Bob deveoped an interest in course
designing while attending his daughters hunter/jumper shows in the
mid to late 1990's. He obtained his Equine Canada (EC) Recorded
status hunter/jumper course designer in late 1999 and for the next
3 years worked mainly Provincial level (equivalent to USEF B rating)
shows.
As
good fortune would have it, In 2002 he was able to apprentice with
Dave Ballard (FEI-O) at the Jacksonville Winter National and Caledon
Equestrian Festival (World Cup Qualifier/WEG Team Trial), with Linda
Allen (FEI-O) at the Duke Children's Hospital Benefit Horse Show
in Raleigh, NC, and with Danny Foster (FEI-I) at the Canadian National
Exhibition. In December 2002 he qualified for EC Senior status
hunter/jumper course designer and subsequently worked a number "A”
level shows run by Equestrian Management Group (EMG) in Palgrave
, ON as well as continuing to work Provincial level shows.
In
December 2003 and received his USEF ‘R’ Jumper CD status. |
